Coral stone, colar sones, color stones…

This morning we returned to the original plan of splitting (the never-ending) coral stones into half-blocks with axes. This job was done by Bao and Miki, and it reminded us of a russian wood-chopping toy.

The whole the team laid even more coral stones, and after a super relaxing lunch it was time for us to lay down for a while. We then returned to the site and put in some more formwork around the columns, which we have to cast 20 of, and laid some more courses of the white stuff… aaaaanndd, Jumaas’ wife gave birth today, so he was gone for half the day, cheers!
