Sauna

The amorphously shaped sauna is a project in the intersection between art, architecture and material science. Together with Trond Solberg (Artist) and Tor Einar Skogesal (Master Carpenter) I have been involved in designing and reinterpreting Tronds sculptures into a building that can be inhabited as a dry-sauna.

The digital prototype is developed through a collaboration between the three of us - Tor Einar giving advice on materials and general guidance on how this can go together - Trond giving feedback on shape and expression, while I have been in charge of developing the project into an architectural direction, where shape and function meets.
