Bench 3m

A personal project that was designed as a "do it yourself" project. All the wood is pre-ordered from a timber supplier. The softwood is standardized pieces of molding and the plywood is ordered with specific dimensions to fit the open space of a 3 meter long wall. The bench i supposed to provide extra seating in a small flat, while hiding junk and serve as a step for the adjacent raised floor. The pallet of colors is picked based on a subjective study and interest of colors intensity, contrast and tint/lightness, painted with watered out gouache to bring fourth the texture of the wood.
